About Hannah
Yoga, sound & nutritional therapy
Hi, I’m Hannah – a yoga teacher and nutritional therapist with a passion for helping others feel more connected to themselves through movement, breath, and nourishing food choices.
My love affair with yoga began over seven years ago while I was living and working in London. I hit a point of burn out, was signed off work and diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Yoga was something my GP recommended I try out; I’d always loved dancing growing up, so I thought I’d try and see. I didn’t actually like the first class I went to - I found the postures confusing and my mind wouldn’t stop! But something inside kept telling me to go back.
Yoga quickly became more than just a physical practice; it was a lifeline. Now, yoga is my safe space; my place to be when I feel happy, sad, anxious. It grounds and uplifts me at the same time.
In the process of focusing on my health through yoga, I discovered how important nutrition was for my mental health and hormones; understanding which food groups and nutrients were right for me, transformed my gut issues, acne and anxiety. After making some big life choices and moving back to the Midlands, I enrolled in an 18 month Masters in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester.
The yoga teacher training followed shortly after I graduated, and nearly three years into teaching professionally, I now offer a supportive space for others to experience the transformative power of yoga and nutrition.
My yoga classes are often described as warm, inclusive, and ‘like a big hug’. I teach vinyasa, aerial, restorative and yoga Nidra – always with a focus on nervous system support. Feeling safe and supported is the most important starting point. I’ve also started incorporating sound healing into my sessions and regularly facilitate aerial sound baths.
Science and spirituality sit side by side in my teaching and I bring a holistic, whole-body approach to my work. I’m fascinated by the nervous system and vagal tone, and I weave breathwork, mindfulness, and functional anatomy into every session, always with some gut-friendly postures!
I also offer 1:1 nutrition sessions, workshops and courses to help educate women on how to best support their hormones, mood, energy and gut health.
My approach is very relaxed. Life is challenging enough without feeling the pressure to achieve a certain posture or to eat a certain way. I am there to read the room, and guide you in a way that best supports your physical, energetic and emotional health. All you need to do is show up.
